Biography
Originally from Chennai, India, Dr. Ariff earned his medical degree from Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute; completed his residency in internal medicine at St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois; and pursued fellowship training in Nephrology at Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
Dr. Ariff’s clinical interest centers on diabetic kidney disease. He also serves as Medical Director at DaVita Desert Dialysis and as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Midwestern University and the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine (AZCOM).
Guided by his patient-first philosophy, Dr. Ariff believes in practicing medicine with innovation, collaboration, and compassion—empowering individuals with knowledge to make informed decisions and achieve their best possible health.
Fluent in English, Tamil, and Hindi, Dr. Ariff was recognized as a Phoenix Magazine “Top Doctor” in 2010. He is an active member of the American Society of Nephrology (ASN) and the Renal Physicians Association (RPA) and frequently participates in community education on kidney health. Outside of medicine, he enjoys hiking with his family, watching movies, practicing yoga, and meditation.
