Biography

Jennifer Tatrai, NP is a board-certified family nurse practitioner providing comprehensive kidney care at Southwest Kidney Institute’s Central Phoenix location. . 

Originally from Berwyn, Illinois, and raised in Arizona, Jennifer earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University, where she also completed advanced training in family practice and nephrology.

Jennifer’s care philosophy is grounded in empathy and collaboration: “I treat each patient as a whole person, not just their diagnosis. My goal is to listen actively, educate, and partner with patients to create personalized care plans that support their overall well-being.”

Jennifer is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Outside of medicine, Jennifer enjoys hiking, jet skiing, traveling, and spending time at the beach.
