Asjad Sardar, MD, is a board-certified nephrologist and transplant nephrologist. Dr. Sardar earned his medical degree from Allama Iqbal Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan; completed residency training in Internal Medicine at St. Barnabas Hospital, Bronx, NY, and specialized further by achieving a fellowship in Nephrology at the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, TX.
At Southwest Kidney Institute in Oro Valley, Dr. Sardar provides comprehensive care for patients with kidney disease, with a strong focus on transplantation preparedness.
Dr. Sardar is fluent in Punjabi and Urdu. He is an active member of the American Society of Nephrology and the American Society of Transplantation.
