Dr. Himabindu Chaparala is a board-certified nephrologist providing comprehensive care for patients with kidney disease at Southwest Kidney Institute.
She earned her medical degree from Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad, India. Dr. Chaparala then landed in New York, where she completed her residency in internal medicine and her fellowship training in nephrology at Stony Brook University.
Dr. Chaparala specializes in peritoneal dialysis and ICU nephrology. She has presented research on continuous renal replacement therapy at the International Conference on Continuous Renal Replacement Therapies and currently serves as Section Chief of Nephrology and Nephrology Rotation Director at Banner University Medical Center.
Fluent in Telugu, Dr. Chaparala is dedicated to advancing patient care and education in nephrology.
